The Danville Town Council on Tue is set to discuss reauthorizing the fee charged to cable television providers to support local public-access TV.

The town currently charges a fee of sixty cents per 30 days per subscriber to Comcast and AT&T to fund public, educational and governmental television. The PEG fee, which generates about $94,000 per year in Danville, is typically passed through to customers by the cable companies.

The council meeting is scheduled to begin at 7:30 in the afternoon Tue inside the Town Meeting Hall, 201 Front Petersburg
